Exploring beautiful Hawaii
It seems that wherever you go you’ll meet people that cannot tell you enough good things about Hawaii. Think about it, have you ever met someone that has been to Hawaii and hasn’t loved it? It doesn’t matter if they spent the majority of their time in Oahu, Maui, on the Big Island of Hawaii, or in Kauai, there aren’t enough words to express how great a time they had in Hawaii! Everyone wants to go to Hawaii, and why should you be any different? You shouldn’t, as there are so many great things to see and do in Hawaii that you should experience first hand.
Some of the most beautiful aspects of Hawaii are all of its beautiful sandy white beaches. It’s not only the soft, clean white sand that is breathtaking, it’s how the white sand sort of flirts with the water and suddenly the sparkling blue waters overcome the sand and the result is stunning. Sunset beaches are unimaginably beautiful in Hawaii and a sunrise on the beach is definitely worth losing some sleep over, as well. While many people envision beaches and more beaches when they think of Hawaii, that’s not all there is to it, though the beaches are a great attraction.
There are a lot of great things that you can do in Hawaii, one of which is snorkeling. There are a lot of opportunities to snorkel, right off the beaches, so you can do it on your own without the help of a guide if you are experienced. You may find beautiful plant life and animal life that you have never seen before, and now it is so close that you can touch it, if you dare! You can spend a lot of time snorkeling because there is so much to see and every time you turn your head you’ll see something new that will interest you. If you want to experience some truly breathtaking snorkeling you might want to get a charter and go out to Lanai, which boasts some of the most breathtaking snorkeling opportunities you’ll ever find.
If it’s wildlife that you would love to see in Hawaii you’ll find that there are plenty of opportunities! Dolphins and whales are among the most commonly viewed living things in Hawaii, mostly because they can be seen from many of the beaches and much of the wildlife viewing takes place from a boat or from the beach. You will also have the opportunity to see many birds and fish, as well. Because Hawaii has tropical weather, there will be many tropical species of animals that you likely will not see in the town or city you have traveled from.
Lodging opportunities are plentiful in Hawaii, wherever you may plan to stay. All of the islands offer hotels, motels, condominiums, time shares, rental homes on the beach, and even camping and cabin opportunities. You can take your pick from any of these lodging options so that you can experience Hawaii in the way that you want to. This is good news for those that are traveling to Hawaii on a budget, as there are clean, comfortable and affordable lodging options.
If you want something exciting to do, you can always check out one of the volcanoes that can be seen in Hawaii. Of course, the most famous is Mt. Kilauea, which has been active off and on for more than 20 years. Being up close and getting personal with a volcano would usually classify as exciting. Another exciting option is a helicopter ride. There are many companies that offer helicopter rides around the islands, where you can see beautiful cascading water falls, dense jungles, islands, beaches, and more. An aerial view of any or all of the Hawaiian Islands is beyond description and something that everyone should experience at least once.
Bicycle tours are also quite popular in and around most of the islands and they allow you to tour the islands in a new way. There are several bicycle tour companies that will offer you different sites along the way. If you want a ramped up version of the bicycle tour, you can always take an ATV tour, which can show you the more rugged side of Hawaii. These ATV tours usually aren’t for the faint of heart, but you can see some breathtaking sites and unexplored Hawaiian treasures.
Hawaii also offers much in the way of zoos, botanical gardens, jungles to explore, cultural events, concerts, great dining, entertainment, and more. When you visit any of the islands you typically will not lack for entertainment and things to do. The hardest part of visiting any part of Hawaii is deciding what you will and will not see, as there simply is too much to do to get it all done in one trip. While you may not want to leave with so many things unseen, look at it as an excuse to come back again and again!
