Pono Kai Resort
The Pono Kai Resort is conveniently situated on Kauai's eastside just outside of the town of Kapaa. The Pono Kai is located on 12 beachfront acres with access to one mile of white sand beach. The resort offers one and two bedroom condominiums featuring full kitchens and all the luxuries of home. The resort offers lush gardens to stroll in, ocean side swimming pool with Jacuzzi and a variety of activities such as tennis, and swimming.
The condominiums feature full kitchens, TV, private lanai, and all the comforts of home. These one and two bedroom condominiums offer your choice of garden view, ocean view, and ocean front to meet your vacation budget needs. There are laundry facilities on site but not in each individual room. These condos do not feature a/c but rather use ceiling fans and the fresh ocean breeze for cooling. The one bedroom units feature a king bed in the master bedroom along with a queen size sofa bed in the living room.
The property at the Pono Kai is situated on a mile-long stretch of white sand beach just outside the town of Kapa'a. The beach is suitable for swimming and boogie boarding but there are no lifeguards on duty. There is a swimming pool with Jacuzzi, two tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, croquet lawn (lighted), putting green and BBQ area for your enjoyment. The Pono Kai also offers a work-out room if you want to keep toned. There is also an activities desk to help with your on-island planning. It is also a short walk to the Coconut Plantation which also features souveneir shops, theaters and restaurants.
