Plantation Gardens

2253 Poipu Road, Koloa, Kauai, HI 96756

This 1930's estate belonged to the manager of Hawaii's first sugar plantation. This historic piece of architecture is highlighted with Brazilian Cherry floors, accented by Koa trim, and offers a large veranda from which to view the gardens.

The gardens are simply beautiful. The property includes coconut and kou trees, orchids, bromeliads, a cactus and succelent garden and is highlighted by several koi ponds.

The bar opens at 5 pm nightly, the restaurant opens for dinner at 5:30 pm nightly.

The cocktail loung features handcrafted tropical drinks and specialty cocktails along with some of the local beers.

The dinner menu is focus on Pacific Rim cuisine wih a regional Hawaiian influence. The menu is well thought out. However, everything is ala carte. The fish and shellfish are from local waters, and many of the fruits, herbs, and vegetables are grown on the resort premises.
